Our Approach
Our program is designed to learn from the lead sheet (simple melody and chords).
Step 1: Melody and Chords
We start from the melody for right hand, then chords for left hand.
Step 2: Activate Left Hand
Transform left hand chords to accompany the melody.
Step 3: Embellishment/Improvisation
Add some stylish technique/improvisation to fill the space, intro/ending to enhance the tune.

Meet Your Teacher
Masako Yotsugi is a pianist and educator. After studying with renowned jazz pianist Ray Santisi at Berklee College of Music, Masako built a decade-long career as a resident pianist for Boston Harbor Hotel – Boston’s five-star hotel.
